First, thank you to ALL who participated in the meeting.  Much was discussed and some changes were adopted.  Some highlights:

RACEDAY

  1. We will have a 13 race schedule (also posted on event schedule) Apr 4, May 2,      Jun 13, 20, 27, Jul 18, 25, Aug 1, 8, 15, Sep 12, 19, 26
  2. We will count your best 11 (of 13) for season points awards
  3. Our August races will be evening format — change from Jun, Jul, Aug
  4. Our July races will be Qualify, Pre-final, Feature format rather than heats, feature
  5. Race 11, Sep 12, will include interloop — change from 2 events
  6. Senior weight 375 — Monitor first races to see how many are over w/o ballast, possible change back
  7. Rain dates are Oct 10, 17
  8. Rain dates will ONLY be used if there are cancellations in the first 13 scheduled
  9. Rain dates will become double events IF more than 2 races are cancelled
  10. NEW – Lease for MGIR tires available by contract

FRIDAY NIGHT LEAGUE

  1. Primary input was “leave it alone”
  2. Session 1 — Mar 27, Apr 3, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 29
  3. Session 2 —  Jun 12, 26, Jul 10, 17, 24, 31, Aug 7, 14 – skipping for Nascar
  4. Session 3 —  Aug 21, 28, Sep 11, 18, 25, Oct 2, 9, 16
  5. Ballast drivers to 200 lb (max 50 ballast until podium finish)
  6. Oval challenge on even numbered events — count 10 of 12 for season points
  7. NEW Elite challenge on odd numbered events — count 10 of 12 for season points
